How to Respond to The Mental Intrusion, “it’s too late for me to…. “

If you think you’re too old for anything, or it’s “too late“, you are most likely wrong. The Mind and the Spirit transcend age, and the body can too if managed appropriately.

Most “limitations” can be overcome through progress in Body, Mind, and Spirit(BMS).

Other “real” limitations are ceilings of performance where mastery cannot be furthered; these are rare.

If you reach peak performance within the conditions that you carry, consider it a great victory, and begin raising students to exceed your level, while looking to pursue additional attainment and fulfillment in other paths.

It’s too late for me to…

Imagine you are 102 years old and you woke up as you are today. Even if you are 70 years old right now, that’s 32 more years of life. In 32 years you can pursue so many paths to mastery across Body, Mind, and Spirit(BMS).

Being young or old is a mentality. The 102-year-old who wakes up as a 70-year-old  feels the youth running through him. You let yourself get old when you quit pursuing the paths to mastery that fulfill you. The 70-year-old who pursues painting is younger than the 20-year-old who pursues pleasure.

You become elderly when you(you!) stop living with vigor.

There are 70-year-olds with more youth than 17-year-olds. The Sad truth of life is many don’t know the value of it until they are much older, often elderly.

No retirement = young forever

You can “retire” from a day job to pursue a path that you love.

Do not retire from the pursuit of mastery.

You always have time unless you’re dead–and even in death, you may have time, because no one has been back to tell us otherwise.

The notion of not having enough time comes from the mind managing the spirit and the body, as opposed to a strong spirit managing Body, Mind, and Spirit(BMS).

Too many mind is anxiety.

You always have time, but you may not have a beneficial mental model of time because you are letting your mind control you, as opposed to you controlling your mind.

If you ever think it’s too late for you, imagine you traveled back in time by 20-40 years to your current age. This will make you grateful for your time, which we should be in all moments.
