Death touches us all and we must survive for those who have died, no matter the cause.
When our grandparents and parents die, we must live for them for their legacy. We must live for ours, and our children’s legacy, upholding the duty to perform and pursue mastery and fulfillment for familiar honor.
When our friends die, we must carry them with us and keep them alive. We must achieve our goals, for ourselves, and for them.
We should speak to our dead every day.
The way we honor our past friends and family is to keep them alive in our Body, Mind, and Spirit(BMS) while being loyal to The Way, The Path, through our individual pursuits of fulfillment.
We can honor the dead of people we have never met before, who we look up to across Body, Mind, and Spirit(BMS), like Miyamoto Musashi and his 21 rules for life.

How to Honor the dead with your smartphone
Put a photo album of the dead on the home screen of your phone, mixed in with images related to your paths across Body, Mind, and Spirit(BMS).
You will spend a significant amount of time on your phone, with, hopefully, most of that time being on the path, so your life is fulfilling.
When you are using your phone for something you shouldn’t–like something OFF-Path when you should be ON-Path–a photo of a lost grandmother, father, or a friend can remind you that you are living for something greater than you alone. You live for them.
Android Phone Screen photo frame
Android users can use the free app, Photo Widget Easy, to add a carousel of photos to your home screen with relatives, motivations, and more. The image above features Photo Widget Easy.
Free & easy.
iOS iPhone screen photo frame
For iOS, you can use the Apple Photos app widget, which will automatically show featured photo’s using Apple’s AI, but you cannot manually select photos.
Instead of using the native option, you can use the iOS app, Photo Widget: Simple, which lets you pick your widget photos and how fast they cycle through.
Final
Seeing your past relatives and friends will keep them alive and will act as a reminder for you to dutifully pursue fulfillment knowing that this life is temporary and you may honor your life, and the lives of those you love, by pursuing mastery on your many paths.
Keep a connection with your dead loved ones whether you knew them while they lived, or not.
