The best small-sized fish oil pills were Now Food’s Omega-3 mini gels, which have been unavailable for purchase since at least the beginning of 2024.
We reached out to Now Food’s via their website chat support in June of 2024 and were informed that the Now Nutrition Omega 3 mini gels were temporarily out of stock, but would be available to purchase soon.
This appears to be incorrect information, as even on the Now Nutrition website, the Omega 3 mini gels are still out of stock. We have had an email alert for their return since the beginning of 2024, and we have not been alerted.
It appears that Now Nutrition is not planning on selling Omega 3 mini gels in the near future.

A company called Spoonful has made a near-identical product, Spoonful Mini Omega 3 Fish Oil pills.
While the DHA amount of Now Food’s and Spoonful’s mini omega 3 gels are almost the same, Spoonful has almost double the amount of EPA at 709mg compared to Now’s 360mg.
One potential downside is cost. At the time of this writing, Now Food’s(formerly) sold 180 mini omega 3 pills for $19.99 which provided 90 servings. Spoonful sells 300 mini omega 3 pills for $33.95 which provides 100 servings. Still, for the convenience of a smaller, easier-to-swallow and digest pill, the price increase will be worth it for most people who struggle to swallow large-sized fish oil pills.
