Ted Bundy was a serial killer who was executed via electric chair on January 1st, 1989 at the Florida State Prison. He’s estimated to have killed over 30 women during a killing spree lasting roughly 4 years, from 1974 to 1978. Many believe he killed more and for a longer period.
Ted Bundy broke out of jail twice. During his second escape, he killed three more women.
Ted Bundy was a weak, pathetic man who used deception to target victims weaker than him to fulfill his perversions.
Bundy is an example of toxic weakness; the danger of an individual who does not value or pursue virtue and attainment, but instead pursues pleasure, sadistic pleasure in his case, of which pleasure cannot be fulfilled.
The video above shows Ted Bundy’s interview with Dr. James Dobson, one day before his execution. You can read a relevant excerpt of the interview below.
“With [adult content] that deals on a violent level with sexuality is that, once you become addicted to it–and I look at this as a kind of addiction–like an addiction you keep craving something that is harder and harder. Something with a greater sense of excitement. Until you reach the point where the [adult content] only goes so far. You reach that jumping-off point, where you begin to wonder if actually doing it will give you that which is beyond just reading about it or looking at it.”
“I’ve lived in prison for a long time now and I’ve met a lot of men who were motivated to commit violence just like me and without exception, every one of them was deeply involved in [adult content]. Without Question. Without exception. Deeply consumed by addiction to [adult content].”
Ted Bundy’s Last Words
With his last words Bundy demonized adult content, explaining that his killing spree was, at least in part, caused by him viewing violent adult content. He explained that after viewing videos or reading depictions of violent sexual acts, he pondered if doing the real thing would get him a better high or thrill. He explained that this is a pattern he observed amongst other sadistic criminals during his time in prison, before his execution.
Bundy was a psychopath who craved attention. Chances are, he was just saying this to divert the responsibility of his actions to…his other actions. He also mentioned the reason for his killing spree was that he was unpopular in high school.
Even if he was an addict to adult content, there are no excuses, or rationality to explain or forgive his behavior.
We know that adult content does not directly convert individuals into serial killers, as 60-90% of the population is estimated to view adult content regularly. However, seeing adult content that depicts violence against women, or actual, illegal adult content showing real sexual violence against women could encourage an individual to seek these behaviors in their reality.
We believe adult content and self-touching are unhealthy and should be avoided. We do not believe in any capacity that either can be used as an excuse for behavior like Bundy’s, or any sadistic killer, or anyone who commits violence against women.
Predatory behavior of any kind–whether preying on those who are disadvantaged or being a predator by using tricks, as Bundy did–is toxic weakness.
The strong do not seek to take advantage of the weak. They don’t need or want to; they find their own way.
Serial killers are not strong individuals; they are the weakest links of society. The most useless. It is important to understand this.
Controlling What Goes in Your Mind
Even if violent and sadistic adult content does not encourage real-life violent behavior, what kind of information do you want to feed your mind? If you are what you eat, is your mind the amalgamation of what you “feed it” too?
Thinking outside of the self; why would you want to support this behavior by watching it, or worse, paying for it, which incentivizes more of it to be produced?
Keep in mind violent adult content could very well encourage and/or reinforce toxic behavior.
- Watch what you feed your body
- Watch what you feed your mind
- Watch what you feed your spirit
We recommend abstinence from adult content and inauthentic sexual experiences universally. We encourage authentic sexual and romantic experiences, of which romantic experiences can only occur from an authentic context.
Authentic romantic experiences are fulfilling; unlike adult content and self-touching.
