
Shadow Paths are paths you walk that are not paths to mastery, or paths to mastery that do not resonate with your spirit domain. You may or may not be aware that you walk them.
It is crucial for the wanderer to know their shadow paths so they can garner path awareness, or the understanding of when they are on or off the path.
Shadow paths can be paths of pleasure. They often are. These are the paths of addiction; pursuing fulfillment on paths that cannot provide fulfillment.
Fulfillment comes from the path of mastery. Nothing else. Not even power or money can fulfill.
Nostalgia is a dangerous shadow path. What is done cannot be done again and what has passed will not be ahead.
The path goes forward; look forward to move forward.
Addiction digs a hole on the path that can blind the wanderer to all directions. Pursuing pleasure is digging a hole on the path. You must climb out to see the way forward, and even then, you must decide to walk forward.
When you are off the path, or walking down a shadow path, you are not walking towards mastery, so you will not find fulfillment.
It is crucial for all wanderers to understand and document their shadow paths.
Add your shadow paths to your code so you may always be aware of them. Review them, and your code, at least weekly to strengthen your path awareness.
Be ever-conscious of the pull of the shadow path.
Imagine who you will be in 5, 10, or 20 years if you follow your shadow paths instead of your paths to mastery.
The journey and the destination down shadow paths are never good. By thinking where the path of no path takes you, you can articulate your wasted life and unused talents, your natural gifts.
